Yolanda Erburu is Sanitas and Bupa ELA´s Chief Sustainability & Corporate Affairs Officer. Originally from Navarra, in northern Spain, she has lived in the UK and in the US and has spent school summer breaks in France. She is passionate about nature, biodiversity and healthy environments.
She has a degree in Information Sciences from the University of Navarra and a Master’s Degree in International Trade from the Public University of Navarra. After some time working as journalist, she joined Sanitas in 2003 as Communications Director and since then has also implemented and developed the company’s Sustainability, Public Affairs, Brand and Sponsorship strategy, which she leads for Sanitas in Spain and for Bupa in Europe and Latin America. She is also the general manager of the Sanitas Foundation.
Moreover, between 2012 and 2014, she chaired the Board of Directors of Foretica, the leading association in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility in Spain.
